The St. Paul Winter Carnival is coming up, and there is a webcam of the Ice Palace as it's being constructed.
I wrote a perl script to capture a day's worth of images and put together a timelapse mpeg movie (4.1 Mb) of it.
Update: Here's the next day of construction (4.6 Mb). I'm afraid their camera got stuck just before it got light, so there's an abrupt jump from dark to light at the beginning of this one. There wasn't as much work on the ice castle as the day before, but the weather is really intense in this one.
